Missouri S&T earns 10 CASE awards

Missouri S&T received 10 awards for excellence in advancement, alumni relations, and communications and marketing initiatives and materials from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). The awards were presented at the CASE District VI Conference in Kansas City, Missouri, on Jan. 27.

Missouri S&T won one gold award, five silver awards and four bronze awards in the annual competition.

CASE is the international organization for educational advancement. Members are college, university and independent school staff members in the areas of alumni relations, communications and marketing, and philanthropy. District VI includes colleges, universities and independent schools in Missouri, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming.

S&T received sliver awards for:

  • General news writing: news.mst.edu
  • Special events/single day category: Groundreaking ceremony for the expansion of the Kummer Student Design Center on April 26,“Breaking Ground on a Dream for Student Design”
  • Institutional relations publications: Research publication: “Re:search – Fall 2019: The battle for the brain”
  • Illustrations: “Eco-Village Living Laboratories”
  • Editorial design: “Success in Arts, Sciences and Business” issue of Missouri S&T Magazine
