Graduating students – speak at your ceremony

If you’re graduating this semester, apply to be a student speaker at your May 2020 commencement ceremony. The deadline is 8 a.m. Sunday, March 1. Get an application and more details.

The Commencement Student Speaker Selection Committee seeks graduating students to speak at the three upcoming May 2020 commencement ceremonies. Bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D. students from both colleges may apply. Each ceremony will have a graduate and undergraduate student speaker.

Your speech should focus on your personal S&T experience and life lessons learned along the way that you believe will be valuable in your life.

Auditions will be held between from Monday, March 16, through Wednesday, March 18.  Sign up for auditions will be on a first-come, first-served basis via response to email.
