Faculty to discuss mid-career faculty challenges

Faculty and administrators are invited to join a discussion titled “Mid-Career Faculty Challenges” noon-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, in the Carver-Turner Room of the Havener Center. Lunch is provided and registration is required. RSVP online.
Dr. Dan Reardon, associate chair and associate professor of English and technical communication, will moderate the discussion. Reardon is co-editor of a new book titled Mid-Career Faculty: Trends, Barriers, and Possibilities. To pose a question for the panel prior to the event, visit https://forms.gle/B1SNec7L7vMRvrRf8. Following the discussion, the College of Arts, Sciences, and Business will host a reception and book signing.
The event is sponsored by S&T’s Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE). It will also be live-streamed to all campuses in the University of Missouri System. Information on accessing the live stream will be available on the CAFE website cafe.mst.edu.
