COVID-19: Update on coronavirus

S&T Student Health Services continues to monitor events related to the recent coronavirus outbreak in China. There are no confirmed cases of the virus among the S&T population and no confirmed cases in Missouri.
Students who have traveled to Wuhan, China, since Jan. 1, and who may have a fever or respiratory illness, should contact Student Health Services at 573-341-4284. Likewise, faculty and staff are advised to contact their health care providers if they have traveled to Wuhan, China, this year and have similar symptoms.
The immediate health risk to the American public is considered low at this time. Both the U.S. Department of State and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have issued travel alerts. As a preventive measure, university-sponsored travel to China at this time is prohibited.
