Counseling services offers various groups for students — safe spaces in which to gain awareness of self and others. The experience can reduce loneliness, normalize life events, promote change and teach new skills. Please remind students to stop by Room 204 Norwood Hall for information or call 341-4211 to get the time and place for the next meeting.
Groups help students learn how to connect with their feelings while in the presence of others. Groups are open to students and cover the following topics: test anxiety, ADHD support, cognitive behavioral therapy, Miners 4 Recovery, graduate support, family issues, healthy relationships, safety, social confidence, thriving and not just surviving, and Asperger’s support.
