The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) will hold its Building Blocks Workshop on course design 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14; Wednesday, Jan. 15; and Thursday, Jan. 16, in Room 216 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. Please register online.
This workshop uses “backwards”
course design and focuses on essential student learning outcomes. Participants
are asked to read the first two chapters of Felder and Brent’s book, Teaching and Learning STEM before the
workshop. For a copy of the book, please contact CAFE at cafe@mst.edu.
The Building Blocks Workshop is one of the required components of the Ten Steps to Teaching Success program as well as a requirement for eFellow
grant recipients.
