Article showcases SBDC success

Karen Leatherman, business development specialist at the Missouri S&T Small Business Development Center (SBDC), was recognized for her work in an article published by the Missouri Small Business Development Center on Dec. 6. The article featured a local business, Just Delicious, owned by Justina Keeney.
With Leatherman’s help, Keeney narrowed down her ideas and developed a business plan. Keeney received counseling and assistance with legal forms and licenses, as well as market research and other resources. As she moved into her new building, the SBDC helped her when complications or questions popped up.
“All I had was an idea and a dream – the SBDC helped me put it into a business,” Keeney said.
