Apply for one-year MA program

The Kinder Institute and the College of Arts and Science at the University of Missouri-Columbia are launching a new one-year MA program in partnership with Corpus Christi College, University of Oxford.

This interdisciplinary MA examines the diverse societies of the Atlantic basin, including the Americas, the Caribbean, Europe and Africa. The program includes:

  • nine-hour embedded (and subsidized) study abroad at Oxford University in England
  • optional study abroad of race and politics at the University of Western Cape, South Africa
  • immersion into the Kinder Institute
  • interdisciplinary curriculum that ranges from the early modern era to the present
  • credit hours for internships and work placements
  • can be a terminal degree or can feed into further graduate research.
