Tran to lead regional organization for English teachers

Dr. Thu Tran, manager of S&T’s Intensive English Program, was inducted as the president of Mid-America Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (MIDTESOL) at the organization’s annual conference in Omaha, Nebraska, in September.
Prior to becoming president, Tran served the organization as editor of the annual conference proceedings, MIDTESOL Journal, and as vice president. MIDTESOL is a professional organization of teachers from Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas.
