Brown publishes new book

Dr. Trent Brown, a historian and a professor of English and technical communication, has written a comprehensive examination of an unsolved murder case involving a 12-year-old girl from his hometown of McComb, Mississippi.
The book, set to be released in February 2020, explores the lengthy investigation of the crime and the two extended trials that followed.
“It’s a book about memory, as well as a book about the reconstruction of a crime,” Brown says.
