Symphony

Auditions for the University Wind Symphony will begin at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19. Students must audition if they would like to perform with the group in the Spring 2020 semester. The symphony’s major work next semester will be Johan de Meij’s “Lord of the Rings” Symphony.

The ensemble rehearses noon-12:50 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. To get audition material, students should contact Dr. David Samson, assistant professor of music and director of the symphony, at samsondw@mst.edu, and then sign up for an audition time outside the performing arts office, Room 127 in Castleman Hall.
