The University Wind Symphony, directed by Dr. David Samson, and the S&T Symphonic Band, directed by Dr. Kyle Wernke will present their fall band concert at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10 in Leach Theatre.
The Symphonic Band will perform “Selections from ‘Phantom of the Opera’” by Andrew Lloyd Webber and music from the movie “Avengers: Endgame” by Alan Silvestri. They will also perform “Canzona” by Peter Mennin and “Highland Anthem” by Andrey Stolyarov. The Wind Symphony will perform “Lux Arumque” by Eric Whitacre, “Arabesque” by Sam Hazo, arrangements of “Procession of the Nobles” by Nicolai Rimsky-Korsakov, “Barnum and Bailey’s Favorite” by Karl King and music from the movie “O Brother, Where art Thou” arranged by Michael Brown.
Tickets are $5 in advance or $7 at the door for the public and free to youth, ages 18 and under, and Missouri S&T students with a valid ID. Tickets can be purchased 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday from the Leach Theatre Box Office. Tickets can also be purchased online at leaththeatre.mst.edu or by calling 573-341-4219.
