Staff Council is sponsoring a food and toy drive for the local community through Thursday, Dec. 5. Staff Council members will collect the items Friday, Dec. 6, and deliver to the Greater Rolla Area Community Enterprise (GRACE) and the Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce’s “Give Christmas” toy drive (formally called “Angel Tree.”) If your department will have a box, please email Barbi Spencer, president of Staff Council, at spencerbar@mst.edu to arrange for pick up on Dec. 6.

Traveling trophies will go to the S&T building with the most items collected as well as to the building with the most creative collection box or donation container.

Suggested items to donate include:

• Unwrapped toys
• Canned goods, such as soup, chili, fruit, spaghetti, ravioli and tuna
• Boxed goods, such as instant mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, brownie and cake mixes, pancake and biscuit mixes
• Other non-perishable items, such as peanut butter, cocoa mix, ramen noodles, crackers and cereal.

Individuals who wish to donate money can make arrangements to do so by contacting Erica Reven, Staff Council treasurer, at revene@mst.edu. Please make checks payable to either GRACE or the Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce.
