The campus community is invited to a poetry reading and open mic at 6pm on November 20, 2019 in the loft of the Public House Brewing Company in Rolla. We’re excited to feature visiting poet Jeanette Powers. Bring your poems to share at open mic afterwards. For more information, contact Agnes Vojta at

Jeanette Powers is a poet artist, working class anarchist and non-binary queer who is never far from the banks of one river or another. They are the founding editor of Stubborn Mule Press and an organizer for FountainVerse, an annual 3-day poetry festival in Kansas City. Powers will be touring for the year 2020 on their “Dandylion Riot” American tour, after a month long residency in Iceland for January.
