Best paper award goes to Marathe

Shubhankar Marathe was awarded the best EMC student paper award at the 2019 IEEE EMC Symposium for the paper “ESD Generator Tip Current Reconstruction using a Current Probe Measurement at the Ground Strap.” Shubhankar earned a master’s degree in electrical engineering from S&T and is now working with Amazon Inc. His advisor was Dr. David Pommerenke.

Marathe’s co-authors on the paper included Javad Meiguini, former postdoctoral student in electrical and computer engineering who now works with Amazon; Keyu Zhou, not with S&T; Dr. David Pommerenke, former faculty member in electrical and computer engineering; and Mike Hertz, not with S&T.
