Students collecting food for Rolla community

A student organization is holding a “Just One” food collection for The Mission in Rolla. Individuals are asked to give one food item this week that is purchased when routinely shopping. The collection box is at the Geeks for God student organization table in the Havener Center Atrium this week, through Friday, Oct. 18. Non-perishable food items needed are:
- Peanut butter
- Dry beans
- Canned meals, such as ravioli
- Canned soup or stew
The Mission is a resource in Rolla for people who need a little extra help, whether that be with food, washing their clothes or getting a safe space to stay.
