Applications due Oct. 7 for student commencement speaker contest

Graduating seniors, master’s degree students and Ph.D. students from each college are encouraged to apply by Monday, Oct. 7, for selection as a student speaker for their Fall 2019 commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 14.
The speakers, who are selected through an application process and competition, must be members of the graduating class they plan to address.
Applications are due by 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7, to Krista Chambers, program support coordinator in the office of the provost, at kirsta@mst.edu. To read the guidelines and download an application, please visit the provost’s website at provost.mst.edu/commencementstudentspeaker.
