Kim Shaw-Ellis, diversity officer and the LGBTQ liaison officer for the Kansas City Police Department, will provide free training 9 a.m.-noon Friday, Oct. 11, in the Carver Room of the Havener Center.
The training session is named “Getting the Cooperation You Seek From Those Who Identify as LGBTQ.” Refreshments will be served.
The training is sponsored by Russell House, the Prosecuting Attorney of Phelps County and Missouri S&T. Please sign up by Friday, Oct. 4, by contacting Kim Goodin at 573-578-8653 or kgoodin@pcfcs.org.
