Siau delivers keynote on artificial intelligence

Dr. Keng Siau, chair and professor of business and information technology, was a keynote speaker at the 2019 International Conference on Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence (PRAI 2019) at Wenzhou-Kean University in Zhejiang, China. Siau delivered his presentation remotely.
During his presentation, “Artificial Intelligence: Future of Work and Future of Humanity,” Siau addressed the predicted global outcomes that the use of AI will cause in higher education, the economy and the job landscape.
PRAI 2019 brings together experts from industry, governments and academia, experienced in engineering, design and research, to share their learnings and challenges about the reliability and availability of pattern recognition and AI.
Wenzhou-Kean University is a jointly established Chinese-American university that aims to merge teaching methodologies from both nations to cultivate students with a global vision.
