ALL Graduate Students with research are encouraged to participate. It only takes 3 minutes for a chance to win $200, improve your presentation skills, and gain recognition across campus and in the community!

Registration for 3-Minute Thesis (3MT) closes on October 17th at 4PM.

Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a competition for graduate students to showcase their research to a broader audience. 3MT® challenges students to present a compelling oration on their research and its significance in just three minutes, in language appropriate to a non-specialist audience, using only 1 PowerPoint slide. Cash prizes and plaques are provided to the 1st place, Runner-up, and People’s Choice winners. The 1st place winner will continue on to the regional competition with their expenses paid for.

To register, and for more information, visit or contact Leneisa Parks at

We encourage all of the Miner Family to see our graduate students in action during the Finale round on November 7th at 5pm in St. Pats A & B.
