‘Election Security 2020’ talk planned

Dr. George Markowsky, professor of computer science, will give the first in a series of talks about election security for the 2020 election at 10-11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, in Room 209 Computer Science Building.
Markowsky will give an overview of the Voting Village at the Def Con 2019 conference held in Las Vegas. Def Con is the world’s largest hacker conference, and attendees have shown interest in the security of elections. This session will also feature excerpts from some of the talks presented at Def Con.
