Concert to feature video game music, typewriter solo

Join the S&T Wind Symphony for its fall concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, in Leach Theatre. The concert will feature performances by the University Wind Symphony, directed by Dr. David Samson, and the student-led Video Game Music Ensemble.
Lauren Perala, office support assistant in arts, languages and philosophy, will play a typewriter solo with the Wind Symphony’s performance of “The Typewriter” by Leroy Anderson.
Tickets are $5 in advance or $7 at the door for the public, and free to youth, ages 18 and under, and Missouri S&T students with a valid ID. Tickets can be purchased 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday from the Leach Theatre Box Office, online or by calling 341-4219. Service fees may apply to tickets purchased online or by phone.
