The Ozark Biomedical Initiative Research Symposium will be held 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, in St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center. The symposium includes lunch. Please register online.

The event promotes the strategic partnership between Missouri S&T and Phelps Health to promote collaborative research and education across the shared community.

This year’s symposium includes 12, eight-minute presentations by researchers at S&T, Phelps Health, the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University and the nurse anesthesia department at Webster University

The presentations will cover clinical research designed to advance cancer therapies, regenerative medicine, tissue engineering and traumatic brain injury treatments, and will be followed by a display of more than 30 posters of current biomedical research projects. View the schedule.
