S&T researchers collaborate, publish in Nature Communications

Nature Communications published a paper by S&T researchers titled “Adhesion of Two-Dimensional Titanium Carbides (MXenes) and Graphene to Silicon” in July. The authors are:
- Yanxiao Li, Ph.D. student in civil, architectural and environmental engineering
- Shuohan Huang, Ph.D. student in chemistry
- Congjie Wei, Ph.D. student in civil, architectural and environmental engineering
- Dr. Chenglin Wu, professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering
- Dr. Vadym Mochalin, professor of chemistry
The paper describes results of collaborative study on mechanical properties of 2-D transition metal carbides (MXenes) by Mochalin’s group in chemistry and Wu’s group in civil, architectural. and environmental engineering, Missouri S&T. The authors were also invited to follow up with a blog article hosted by NatureResearch.
