Stay Strong Stay Healthy

Employees, retirees, and community members are invited to participate in an eight-week strength-training course named “Stay Strong, Stay Healthy.” Classes will be held noon-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays from Wednesday, Aug. 21, to Friday, Oct. 11, in University Commons at 850 University Drive. Signs will be posted at the front desk of University Commons to direct you to the room.

This program can get your fitness journey started or restarted without leaving campus. Participants will be guided safely by a trained instructor through a warm-up, muscle-strengthening exercises and cool down. The class is designed for older and sedentary middle-aged adults, but there are no age limits. All equipment is provided.

The cost is $50. Eligible employees can receive 100 wellness incentive points for completing 14 or more of the 16 classes. To register, sign up online or call 573-458-6260.
