Three Missouri S&T faculty members will serve as 2019-20 Presidential Engagement Fellows and share research discoveries with Missouri citizens.
The S&T fellows are:
- Dr. John McManus, Curators’ Distinguished Professor of history and political science
- Dr. Audra Merfeld-Langston, associate professor and chair of arts, languages and philosophy
- Dr. William Schonberg, professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering
University of Missouri System President Mun Choi introduced the 2019-20 class of the Presidential Engagement Fellows June 20 during the Board of Curators meeting. The class includes 15 faculty members from the University of Missouri-Columbia, University of Missouri-Kansas City, University of Missouri-St. Louis, and Missouri S&T. Fellows were selected by their respective universities based on their demonstrated excellence and their ability to communicate their research to the public.
