Compete for NSF funding opportunities

The office of the vice chancellor for research will conduct an internal competition to select Missouri S&T’s designated applicants for two upcoming National Science Foundation (NSF) funding opportunities. Letters of intent (LOIs) are due by the following deadlines:
- 8 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, for Missouri S&T’s two NSF National Research Traineeship slots
- 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, for S&T’s three NSF Major Research Instrumentation slots
Visit the sponsored programs website for instructions on LOIs and to learn about other limited-submission opportunities. Please use the NSF solicitation version currently available when preparing your letter. Applicants will be notified if NSF updates either solicitation during the internal competition.
