International prize goes to Materla

Dr. Tejaswi Materla, a 2018 graduate in engineering management and systems engineering (EMSE) received the Dell’Anna Doctoral Dissertation Prize from the International Academy for Quality (IAQ). Her dissertation is titled “Analyzing Factors Affecting Patient Satisfaction Using the Kano Model.”
Dr. Elizabeth Cudney, associate professor of engineering management and systems engineering, served as Materla’s advisor for this research.
Materla is currently an assistant adjunct professor in EMSE. She will join Penn State Abington as a tenure-track assistant professor of management this fall.
