Amelia Earhart Fellowship goes to S&T grad student

Jill Davis, a Ph.D. student in aerospace engineering, received an Amelia Earhart Fellowship from Zonta International Foundation. She is one of 30 recipients worldwide.
The award goes to women who are doctoral degree students and demonstrate a superior academic record in the field of aerospace-related sciences or aerospace-related engineering. It was established in 1938 in honor of pilot Amelia Earhart.
Davis’ advisor is Dr. Hank Pernicka, professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering.
