Patton Luks to lead ASEE council

Christi Patton LuksDr. Christi Patton Luks has been elected chair of the Professional Interest Council 1 for the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). Luks is an associate teaching professor of chemical and biochemical engineering at S&T.

She will begin her two-year term in June. As the chair, she represents the interests of the following divisions:

  • Aerospace engineering
  • Architectural engineering
  • Biological and agricultural engineering
  • Chemical engineering
  • Civil engineering
  • Construction engineering
  • Electrical and computer engineering
  • Engineering economy
  • Engineering management
  • Industrial engineering
  • Manufacturing
  • Mechanical engineering
