Two new S&T summer camps that focus on environmentally
friendly engineering are available for students in June and July:
- Solar
Architecture and Green Engineering, June 16-20, for
rising high school sophomores and juniors. Campers will get a behind-the-scenes
look at designing solar homes, tour S&T’s Solar Village and explore the
university’s geothermal systems while learning through hands-on design
projects.
- Girls
Save the Planet, July 14-18, for rising eighth-, ninth-,
and 10th-grade girls. Campers will spend a week learning about
energy, water supply and control, and thermal properties in this sustainability
focused camp.
Several returning camps, including Aerospace Camp, Jackling
Introduction to Engineering and Robotics Camp, will also be held at S&T
this summer. Get details about all S&T camps at summer.mst.edu.
