Dr. Kelvin T. Erickson, Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor of electrical and computer engineering, received a 2019 Governor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. He is pictured with Teresa Parson at the Council on Public Higher Education (COPHE) luncheon on April 4 at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri.

The Governor’s Award is presented each year to one faculty member at each institution of higher education in Missouri. The awards are based on effective teaching, innovative course design and delivery, effective advising, service to the university community, commitment to high standards of excellence and success in nurturing student achievement.
