Funeral services announced for Barry Flachsbart

Dr. Barry Flachsbart, professor emeritus of business and information technology, passed away May 25. Visitation services will be held 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, at the Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, located at 12444 Olive Blvd. in Creve Coeur, Missouri. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 30, at King of Kings Lutheran Church, located at 13765 Olive Blvd. in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Flachsbart served S&T for over 50 years, including a term as chair of the information technology department. He was among Chesterfield’s founders and longest-service City Council members.
