During Orientation Week, faculty and staff will again have an opportunity to work with new students and establish that S&T’s value of inclusion is woven into the fiber of our community. Similar to the Miner Values workshops last year, faculty and staff will facilitate workshops with groups of 20-30 new students at 3:30-4:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12. The workshops will feature a mix of lecture, conversation and interactive activity. Approximately 50 facilitators are needed.

The facilitators will have several professional development opportunities in the coming months to prepare to present material designed for the workshops and navigate meaningful conversations. Facilitators can earn up to 100 wellness incentive points for undergoing these professional development opportunities.

To volunteer to serve as a facilitator or for more information, please contact Sarah Murchie, executive assistant for diversity and inclusion, at murchies@mst.edu.
