The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) invites all early-career faculty to a forum about promotion and tenure 4-5 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, in the Havener Center. Separate sessions will be provided for tenure-track faculty and non-tenure-track faculty.

The non-tenure-track faculty session will be held in the Gasconade Room. Dr. Scott Miller, teaching professor of materials science and engineering, and Dr. Michael Bruening, associate professor of history and political science, will lead the session. Bring your questions about the promotion process.

The tenure-track faculty session will be held in the Meramec Room. Dr. Stephen Gao, Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor of geosciences, geological and petroleum engineering, and Dr. Wayne Huebner, professor of materials science and engineering, will lead the session.

This forum is part of the early-career faculty forum series, which is held every other week throughout the academic year. The event on May 1 will be the final session of the spring semester.
