Sigma Tau Delta is hosting three events in April for National Poetry Month:
- Agnes Vojta will read from her book, Porous Land, as well as new work, at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, in Room 121 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. Vojta is a teaching professor of physics at S&T.
- John Dorsey, poet laureate of Belle, Missouri, will read some of his work at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, in St. Pat’s Ballroom A of the Havener Center. The reading will be followed by a reception at Public House Brewing Co. in Rolla.
- Kelly Tate, associate teaching professor of English and technical communication, will lead a creative writing workshop on writing poetry at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, in Room G5 Humanities and Social Sciences Building.
