The 2019 Woman of the Year and winner of the Dr. Elizabeth Cummins Women’s Advocate Award will be announced at the Woman of the Year award ceremony and luncheon noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at Hasselmann Alumni House.

Come congratulate the honorees, mingle with campus colleagues and previous award recipients, and enjoy a complimentary light lunch after the ceremony.

The Woman of the Year Award recognizes a female, full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty member who serves as a valuable role model for female students at Missouri S&T. The Dr. Elizabeth Cummins Women’s Advocate Award honors an S&T employee, regardless of gender or job title, who demonstrates commitment to women on campus through mentorship and advocacy. Dr. Elizabeth Cummins Vonalt was the first woman to chair a department at S&T.
