All faculty and students are invited to attend an information session titled “Humanities, Heritage and History: Collaboration Opportunities with Missouri Humanities Council” 3-4 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, in the Missouri-Ozark Room of the Havener Center.
Learn about a multidisciplinary initiative led by the Missouri Humanities Council (MHC) and headquartered in St. James. An archaeological dig is getting underway, and opportunities abound for student interns and faculty partners from humanities, social sciences, science and engineering. This initiative will focus on the intersection of science and humanities on projects associated with Missouri’s Native American, African American, German and rural pasts.
