Dr. Jeremiah Weinstock, an associate professor of psychology at Saint Louis University, will discuss treating gambling disorders during the psychology colloquium 2-3 p.m. Friday, March 8, in Room 121 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall.
His talk is titled “Treatment of Gambling Disorder with an Emphasis on High Risk Population.”
The high-risk populations he will focus on include college students, individuals in substance use disorders treatment and individuals involved with the criminal justice system. He will discuss the use of motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy to treat the disorder.
