Researcher to speak about medical cannabis today

Marcel Bonn-Miller Last November, Missouri passed Amendment 2, legalizing medical marijuana. Dr. Marcel O. Bonn-Miller will present a seminar, titled “Medical Cannabis in Missouri: Therapeutic Potential and Risks” at 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, in Room 125 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall.

Bonn-Miller is an adjunct assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and research director of the Lambert Center for the Study of Medicinal Cannabis and Hemp at Thomas Jefferson University. A clinical researcher, Bonn-Miller will share his expertise regarding the therapeutic potential and risks of medical marijuana.

The seminar is sponsored by S&T’s Center for Science, Technology and Society.
