Dr. Michael Bruening, associate professor of history and political science, will present a paper this week at a conference sponsored by the Institute for Swiss Reformation History at the University of Zurich in Switzerland. Bruening’s paper is titled “Zwingli and the Pays de Vaud.”
He will talk about Ulrich Zwingli, the leading reformer of Zurich, and the Pays de Vaud, which is an area of French-speaking Switzerland where Lausanne is located. Bruening is the author of three books related to the Reformation.
