The S&T parking operations department is piloting new parking meters that accept credit and debit cards for payment. Instructional videos are available for the meters: single-space meter and two-space meter.

The new parking meters are located in the following areas:

  • 26 spaces in Lot A-21 and four spaces in Lot A-3, near Centennial Hall
  • 17 spaces in Visitor Lot B-13, near Havener Center

Additionally, new meters will soon be placed at 10 spaces in Lot C-48, on the corner of Highway 63 and 10th Street.

Some of the new meters will accept both coins and cards, while some of the new meters will accept cards only. The cost will be $1 per hour, with a minimum of one hour when paying with a credit card. A mobile app is also being developed to work with the meters. Details will be shared once the app is ready.

If you try a new parking meter and would like to share your thoughts, please email your feedback to the parking operations staff at parking@mst.edu.
