‘Say What’ A Catharsis production

Equity & Title IX is hosting two programs on Wednesday, February 13th in the St. Pat’s Ballroom.
– The faculty and staff session is from 10:00am – 1:30am in St. Pat’s in the Havener Center.
– The student session will be held from 6:00pm-7:30pm, also in the St. Pat’s Ballroom.
This program is focused on creating a respectful environment and inclusive culture in a university setting called ‘Say What?!’. We are bringing in exceptional educators from Catharsis to facilitate this program with our faculty, staff and students.
The four take aways for this program are:
• Enables participants to see their own biases and privileges
• Explains what micro-aggressions are, why people commit them and how we can prevent them
• Identifies what bias statements are and how to respond to them
• Empowers everyone to be part of the solution in fostering a more respectful and productive environment
