Professor named to National Academy of Inventors

Jagannathan SarangapantDr. Jagannathan Sarangapani, Rutledge-Emerson Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has been named a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors.

Sarangapani is one of 148 inventors elected into the 2018 NAI Fellow class, announced Dec. 11. The award signifies the highest professional distinction for academic inventors who have demonstrated a prolific spirit of innovation in creating or facilitating outstanding inventions that have made a tangible impact on quality of life, economic development and the welfare of society.
