Grubbs garners award for molecular spectroscopy research

Garry Smitty Grrubbs Dr. Garry Grubbs, assistant professor of chemistry, has been named a Flygare Award winner for 2019. The award recognizes members of the molecular spectroscopy community within 10 years of receiving their Ph.D. The award is only given every two years to two individuals.

As part of the award, Grubbs will present a plenary lecture about his research during the 74th meeting of the International Symposium on Molecular Spectroscopy in June at the University of Champaign-Urbana.
