Fine Linen Theatre of Rolla will present the award-winning musical Newsies from March 28 through April 6, 2019. All performances will be held at Leach Theatre in Castleman Hall on the campus of Missouri S&T.

Missouri S&T faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend a special, free performance of Newsies on Tuesday, April 2 at 7:00 pm. Free tickets for this performance can be reserved online at https://www.finelinentheatre.com/newsies-mst.html or at the Leach Theatre box office in Castleman Hall. This free April 2 performance is open only to S&T faculty/staff/students and their immediate families. You must present a valid S&T ID card when picking up your tickets. The deadline for ticket reservations is Friday, March 29.

Newsies is the Disney film turned Tony-winning Broadway hit inspired by the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899 in New York City. Featuring the now classic songs “Carrying the Banner,” “Seize the Day,” and “Santa Fe,” Newsies is packed with non-stop thrills and a timeless message, perfect for the whole family. Newsies is a high-energy, engaging show with athletic choreography and an invigorating Disney score.
