‘Best online course’ award goes to Grasman

Approximately 450 S&T students a year take Engineering Management 1100 — Technical Management with Kellie Grasman, S&T lecturer in engineering management and systems engineering. Those students are taking the best online course, according to WileyPLUS.
Grasman received the Best Online Course award by John Wiley and Sons Inc. as one of the 2018 WileyPLUS Nexty Awards.
Recognized as a superior course designer, the WileyPlus website says, “Grasman’s thorough screencast video of her course demonstrated her skills in both course design and online instruction. She has managed to integrate the use of Excel in her WileyPLUS course and displays a great mix of online instruction and technology use balanced with face-to-face support. Her clear focus on student outcomes is apparent.”
