Fang receives two awards for papers

Chevy Hanqing FangDr. Chevy Hanqing Fang, assistant professor of business and information technology, received two awards at the 14th International Symposium on Entrepreneurship and Family Business at the Zhejiang University School of Management in Zhejiang, China.

He received Tier 1 Mao Li Xiang Family Business Research Excellence Paper Awards for:

  • “Managing Risk Multiplicity in Family Business,” co-authored with Dr. Esra Memili, associate professor of entrepreneurship at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro
  • “Goal Complexity in Family Firm Diversification: Evidence from China” with co-authors Junsheng Dou, associate professor at Zhejiang University; Ning Wang, Emma Su and Esra Memili.

Fang’s research primarily focuses on family firms, entrepreneurship and strategic management.
