‘Best paper’ award goes to Fukawa

Dr. Nobuyuki Fukawa, associate professor of business and information technology at S&T, and co-author Yu-Shan (Sandy) Huang, assistant professor of marketing at Northern Michigan University, received the M. Wayne DeLozier Best Conference Paper Award at the 2018 Academy of Marketing Science Annual Conference in New Orleans. They received the award for their manuscript, titled “Consumers’ Willingness to Try A Robotic Shopping Assistant: The Role of Imagery.”

Fukawa’s teaching focuses on marketing analytics, marketing strategy and consumer behavior. His research has been published in journals including Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business Ethics, Psychology and Marketing, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, and Journal of Advertising.

The Academy of Marketing Science Foundation is an international, scholarly, professional organization dedicated to promoting high standards and excellence in the creation and dissemination of marketing knowledge.
