Visiting scholar to discuss concrete research

Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering is hosting a seminar at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, in Room 120 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. Dr. Cameron D. Murray, assistant professor of civil engineering at the University of Arkansas, will give a talk titled “Rapid Setting Cement and Other Concrete Research.”
This talk will cover Dr. Murray’s current and past research into the structural performance of CSA cement concrete in prestressed concrete and reinforced concrete. In addition to Dr. Murray’s research on CSA cement, the talk will briefly cover his other research interests and the current research projects in the concrete laboratory at the University of Arkansas.
